Curbside Pickup and Return Drop-Off

Curbside pickup and return drop-off is available beginning Monday, May 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

  • Follow the physical distancing protocol in place by allowing six or more feet between people.
  • Wear a face covering/mask in order to enter.
  • A valid photo ID/student ID is required for pickup. 
  • No signature is required for pickup.

Pickup Process:

  1. Park in the designated spot near the rear of Fanjeaux Hall. It will be labeled "Campus Store Curbside Pickup".
  2. Call (415) 485-3213 and let us know you've arrived for a pickup or return. For a pickup you will need to provide your last name, last five digits of order number and vehicle make, model and color to our team member.
  3. Open the trunk or rear car door and wait in your car for the team member to arrive with your order.
  4. Our team member will verify your photo/student ID and place the order in the trunk or back seat.

Return Process:

  1. Park in the designated spot near the rear of Fanjeaux Hall. It will be labeled "Campus Store Curbside Pickup".
  2. Call (415) 485-3213 and let us know you've arrived for a return. 
  3. Complete the Rental Return Form by providing your full name, phone number and email address.
  4. Place the rentals being returned in a provided bag with the Rental Return Form.
  5. Place the bag onto the table indicated.
  6. Our team will process the rental check-in after two days and will contact you if there are any issues with the rental(s).

It is our mission to provide access to affordable course materials in print, digital and rental formats, including OER resources. To find out what your class requires: go to Self Service and search for your course and section (or go to your schedule of enrolled courses) then select the section name and click "View Book Information" under the section description.

Yes! We have everything required or recommended by an instructor — from lab notebooks to lab coats, name badge reels and more. We even carry office supplies! 

Textbooks are available as new, used, rental, or digital. Choose the format that best suits your needs and budget. Also, we buy back physical, non-rental textbooks at the end of the semester. Please note — finals week is the best time to get the most for your unwanted books.

Yes! We price match textbooks against Amazon and most competitors (excluding Amazon Warehouse and Marketplace). If you find a cheaper advertised price within seven days of purchase, we’ll give you the difference. Visit us to learn more.

Online orders are processed during store hours, within 1-2 business days. We also process online orders during the winter break but please call first if placing gift orders after December 20. When ordering, specify “store pick-up” and skip the shipping cost.

Generally, the campus store offers three shipping speeds:

  • Standard (4-7 business days)
  • 2nd Business Day (2-3 business days)
  • Next Business Day (1-2 business days)

Yes! Pick your own gifts or choose from pre-selected care packages. When ordering, specify “store pick-up” and skip the shipping charge.

While the due date for rented books has not changed, the “non-return charge date” has been extended 15 days past your current return due date to allow time for your mailed book to reach the store and required quarantine prior to team member processing.

If you originally rented your textbook in the store, there is no option to buy or extend the rental on the website at this time. If you rented your textbook online, you have an option to buy or extend the rental on the website, on the Rentals page.

Your item may be shipping from a location that has closed due to COVID-19 concerns. Your order will be filled when we are able to access that location again. Items that are in this situation are marked as “backordered” on the website. However, when you placed your order, the ship-from location may not yet have been closed or was in the process of closing, so this backorder status may not have been displaying. Check the item again now for confirmation. Sorry for the inconvenience during this uncertain time. If you wish to cancel an order in this status, contact us and we will work with you to get what you need.
