Our courses will enable you to earn graduate credit in the form of Extension Semester Units (ESU) or Continuing Education Units (CE).
Types of Credit
- Extension Semester Units (ESU)
Usually associated with courses taken to attain a form of certification. ESU are characterized by 15 hours of contact time per unit, and are associated with a degree of knowledge assessment and/or skills implementation.
- Continuing Education Units (CE)
Usually associated with courses taken for information and non-mandatory skill building. CE credits are characterized by 10 hours of contact time per unit, and require a minimal amount of knowledge assessment and/or skill implementation.

General: $180/$150 early registration
Dominican alumni: $150/$120 early registration
Dominican students and faculty: $100/$80 early registration
The Department of Counseling Psychology at Dominican University of California is approved by the California Psychological Association to provide continuing professional education for Psychologists. Dominican University maintains responsibility for this program and its content. The Board of Behavioral Sciences now recognizes CPA PAS CE credit for MFT and LCSW license renewal.
Enrollment and Cancellation
Cancellations are subject to a $50.00 processing fee and must be received 14 days prior to being eligible for a refund.
Enrollment may be limited and is accepted in the order completed registrations are received. Actual enrollment is confirmed via email two weeks prior to the start of the course. All courses are subject to minimum enrollment––early registration is encouraged.
