Business Undergraduate Career Services

Dominican’s Barowsky School of Business (BSB) offers high-impact career services to business students (undergraduate and graduate), and BSB alumni.

What We Do

The Barowsky School of Business partners with local Bay Area companies to provide experiential learning opportunities for our students, as well as job placement after graduation. Students work closely with the BSB Career Services to prepare them for their careers and life beyond graduation. Our services include individualized career counseling and professional development workshops.

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic crisis, we have adjusted our services to include virtual opportunities, such as:

  • Hosting daily Zoom drop-in hours for current students and new graduates (available during the semester and summer).

  • Hosting Zoom workshops for current sophomores and juniors to help them with their job search during COVID-19 and provide relevant tips for finding a job/internship, gaining new software skills, and networking.

  • Hosting Zoom workshops for seniors to help them adjust their job search during COVID-19 and provide relevant tips on finding a job, interviewing, networking via LinkedIn.

  • Reaching out to local employers to find work and internship opportunities for students and new graduates.

  • Providing mentorship opportunities for students

  • More to come with alumni assistance!

BSB Career Services works to identify your career goals and then helps you find a job after you graduate. In 2022, 92 percent of BSB seniors seeking placement after graduation either secured full-time jobs (with an average starting salary of $60k!) or enrolled in graduate school.

How it works:
Employers want to hire Dominican graduates! Career Services works directly with employers and recruiters to help new graduates find full-time positions in a variety of industries and roles. Our students find jobs locally in Marin County, in the greater Bay Area, as well as across the nation.
