Business Graduate Career Services

The Barowsky School of Business offers high-impact career services to undergraduate and graduate business students, and BSB alumni.

AACSB Accredited

What We Do

The Barowsky School of Business (BSB) partners with local Bay Area companies to provide experiential learning opportunities for students and job placement upon graduation. Students work closely with BSB Career Services to prepare them to move forward in their careers and life beyond graduation. Our services include individualized one-on-one assistance and professional development events.

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic crisis, we have adjusted our services to include virtual opportunities, such as:

  • Reaching out to local employers to find work and internship opportunities for students and new graduates

  • Coaching students one-to-one (via Zoom and phone) through layoffs and changes in work status due to COVID-19

  • Providing resume and job search assistance specific to looking for a job during these challenging economic times

Job Placement

BSB Career Services works with business students to assist with job placement. Employers post full-time positions for graduate students in a variety of industries and roles. BSB also has partnerships with recruiters to help students and alumni find jobs post-graduation. Our students find jobs locally in Marin County, in the greater Bay Area, as well as around the country.

Internships

Students have the opportunity to search for internships during their graduate programs. In Fall 2019, 52 percent of business students are currently interning in approved business internships. Employers post paid part-time internship opportunities for students year round. These experiences help students become highly marketable as they look to advance their careers after graduation. Students intern in a variety of fields including marketing, social media, operations, human resources, accounting, finance, and more.
