Research Collective

The Dominican Research Collective nurtures our cross-disciplinary scholarly community and supports individuals in furthering their research agenda.

The Dominican Research Collective is a venue for faculty on the research track at Dominican interested in furthering academic research projects with the support of other scholars on campus. Over the course of an academic year, members meet regularly to present their scholarship to their peers, receive feedback, and revise their work for publication, presentation, or dissertation.

Membership is offered on a first-come, first-served basis to Dominican researchers committed to actively participating in all monthly meetings throughout the academic year. Those engaged in the production of creative projects accompanied by written work are also welcome.

Participating in the Dominican Research Collective was one of the highlights of my first year on faculty here. It is so important to have a community of scholars willing to collaborate and spend time supporting the work of colleagues. The Collective was an excellent way to stay engaged in the writing process and broaden my skills via an interdisciplinary team process.”
