Christine Koh, PhD

Christine’s research focuses on understanding aerosols and their dynamics that have an impact on the environment and our health. Her group aims to develop spectroscopic methods and aerosol techniques to investigate organic matter aerosols or bioaerosols that originate from living organisms. These techniques reveal a wealth of information, such as aerosol’s chemical composition, size, and hygroscopicity and allow to monitor their changes in real time. The evolution of aerosols due to changes in environment are also studied in order to gain a deeper understanding of the impact of aerosol particles on local air quality.
