Born and raised in the Los Angeles area, Louis Knecht received his Master’s in Library and Information Science at UCLA where he focused on archival studies. Immediately after in his two years at Humboldt State University, Louis focused on information literacy instruction, archival preservation, research, outreach, and increased student engagement with library resources. A major interest of Louis’ is to connect students in programs and disciplines often overlooked by academic archives with a wide range of primary source formats for research.
