Accelerated Master of Arts in Applied Sport and Performance Psychology (ASPP)

The Accelerated MA in Applied Sport and Performance Psychology combines three years of undergraduate coursework and two years of graduate coursework and training in Applied Sport and Performance Psychology (ASPP) allowing students to complete a bachelor's degree in Psychology or Kinesiology as well as a master’s in five years.

In the first three years, students complete an accelerated undergraduate curriculum to complete all required coursework for either a BA or BS in Psychology or Kinesiology.

Declaration of Interest and ASPP Program Admission Process

Students interested in the accelerated Bachelor's degree to ASPP program should declare their intent to apply to the program (via their psychology/kinesiology advisor) in their second undergraduate year at the latest and attend an ASPP information session to learn about program requirements and the application process.

Application to the ASPP Program

Students apply for progression into the professional ASPP program in the beginning of the second semester of their third year. All ASPP admission requirements must be met and application materials must be submitted. Qualified applicants will be invited for an interview.

Starting ASPP Coursework

In their fourth undergraduate year, accelerated students begin ASPP coursework, completing the first year of the two-year (full-time) ASPP program as an undergraduate student.
