Dominican University and Congressman Jared Huffman hosted a Student Summit on School Safety and Gun Violence Prevention on March 18 from 10 a.m. until noon.  2015 Stoneman Douglas High School graduate Bradley Thornton participated in the event via Skype.

The student-driven conversation focused on ending gun violence and making our schools and public places safer. The event was in front of a capacity crowd in Angelico Concert Hall on the Dominican campus in San Rafael. Parking was available in the Conlan Center lot at the intersection of Grand and Acacia Avenues.

This event was free and open to the public; however, priority was given to students, educators, parents, and guardians. Seating was limited and was filled on a first-come, first-served basis up to capacity.

Dominican’s Penguin Radio, and a podcast will be available after the event. If you have questions or need language or ASL interpretation, contact Congressman Huffman’s San Rafael office at
(415) 258-9657.
