- Vaolele Stawiarski
Vaolele has worked in international education for over 15 years. She joined Dominican in November 2006. She grew up in a U.S. military family and, as a result, has moved around a lot and interacted with people from all over the world since she was very young. Although she has lived in many places, she considers herself an islander at heart. She is of Japanese/ Samoan/Tokelauan heritage.
Vaolele is a dedicated internationalist and her mission at Dominican is to help build and sustain a campus that is welcoming to students and faculty from various cultures. Vaolele is fluent in English and Japanese and proficient in Samoan.
