Barbara Wampner, MA

Barbara is a registered cello teacher trainer with the Suzuki Association of the Americas. She is also chair of the SAA Cello Revisions Committee and a representative to the International Suzuki Association. Barbara teaches at Suzuki conferences and festivals as a guest clinician. This work takes her around the world to locations that include Peru, Chile, Korea, Japan, and Australia.

Barbara has worked at Dominican for the past 40 years, where she leads the Suzuki School of Music program as the director and as a cello instructor. Outside of Dominican, Barbara teaches in her private studio and has done so for many years. Her previous experience includes teaching in the SFUSD for 13 years prior to 1979.
