Join us for Chilly’s Fall Fest! Spend the day with your student, connect with other Penguin families, and experience the Dominican community. Bring the whole family and make a day of it with athletics, food, festivities, and special campus events throughout the day.
All Dominican athletic events are free to attend.

10:45 a.m. – Ribbon Cutting Ceremony | Kennelly Field
Join President Nicola Pitchford and members of the Dominican community as we celebrate the unveiling of our new carbon-neutral turf field with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting. We extend a special thank you to the generous donors whose support made this campus and community resource possible.
11:30 a.m. - Donuts with Dominican Leadership | Conlan Recreation Center
Enjoy coffee and donuts with President Nicola Pitchford, Dean Yung-Jae Lee, members of Dominican’s Board of Trustees, and other campus leaders. This casual gathering is a great opportunity to connect, ask questions, and meet fellow Penguins.
12 p.m. – Chilly's Fall Fest | Kennelly Field Parking Lot
Enjoy food trucks, music, kid-friendly games, a beer garden, and plenty of Penguin spirit as alumni, parents, students, and families come together to celebrate the Dominican community. The Dominican Bookstore will also be on site with Penguin gear and merchandise available for purchase. Trucks will be on site until 5 p.m.
12:30 p.m. – Women's Soccer vs Point Loma | Kennelly Field
2:45 p.m. – Campus Tour
Enjoy our beautiful campus with one of our Student Ambassadors on a 45-minute walking tour of Dominican. Meet at the Dominican Alumni Association table in the Kennelly Field parking lot.
3:30 p.m. – Men's Soccer vs Point Loma | Kennelly Field
5 p.m. – Dinner at Caleruega Dining Hall
Stay on campus for dinner! Caleruega Dining Hall is open to students, families, and guests. The cost of the dinner buffet is $18.40 per person.
6:15 p.m. – Ice Cream Social | Conlan Rec Center Lobby
End your afternoon on a sweet note! Hosted by Dominican’s Women’s and Men’s Basketball teams, the Ice Cream Social is a chance to enjoy a treat and meet members of our Penguin basketball programs before heading into the evening’s volleyball match.
7 p.m. – Women’s Volleyball vs Jessup University | Conlan Rec Center

Open from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. – Art Exhibit “Held / Together” | Barbara D. Goodman Art Gallery at Archbishop Alemany Library
Visit “Held / Together,” a survey of contemporary art through the lens of The Last Tuesday Group, a collective of Bay Area artists.
