Miriam is passionate about supporting small to medium enterprises, as she believes they are the backbone of our society and the leaders in innovation. Miriam started her own business in 2008 and has worked with hundreds of organizations assisting them to communicate authentically, build their leadership capabilities, grow and develop initiatives/products that create win-win-win scenarios (good for the business, the community, and the environment). 

Miriam is now the director for the Marin Small Business Development Center (SBDC) where her team serves on average 300 local Marin businesses each year. Through their no-cost business advising, over 180 businesses have started, over 1100 jobs were created or retained, over $41M capital investments were brought in and those businesses increased their sales by over $52M.
