Leslie received her PhD degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara, her MA degree from the University of California at Davis, and her BA degree from Dominican College of San Rafael. She joined the faculty at Dominican in 1985 and has served as the program chair for art history since 1987. Leslie offers numerous courses in art history at the undergraduate level and also graduate seminars in Dominican’s Master of Arts Program in the Humanities. A recognized scholar, her publications include six books to date on medieval art, the art and architecture of the world’s religions, and text/image relationships in the history of art/communication.
