Kristin’s occupational therapy practice has focused on adults with neurological or orthopedic disabilities in a variety of settings, including acute and outpatient rehabilitation. She has also provided comprehensive occupational therapy to persons with repetitive strain injuries, including providing ergonomic evaluations, educating in adapted work strategies, and using biofeedback for task retraining in order for persons to return to work.

Most recently, Kristen was the program director at the Center for Innovative OT Solutions. Her work there included the development of the first online Assessment of Motor and Process Skills (AMPS) certification course. She also taught internationally AMPS certification courses and Occupational Therapy Intervention Process Model (OTIPM) courses. Kristen has co-authored an occupational therapy textbook chapter about the OTIPM.
