Evin began her career as an occupational therapist in 2012 after completing a BSMS in occupational therapy at Western Michigan University in her hometown of Kalamazoo, Michigan. She identifies deeply in her roots as an occupational therapist, educator, communicator, advocate, and equal opportunist. Evin has worked and taught in a variety of metropolitan cities, including Philadelphia, New York City, Barcelona, and most recently Oakland. She has worked with adults and seniors throughout her career, specializing in orthopedic, CVA and TBI care. 

Through her work in the acute care and acute rehab settings, Evin has maintained a career committed to partnering with individuals and families to promote health, and enhancing the ability for active participation in meaningful roles of everyday life. As an honor to her career and patients, Evin holds a strong vested interest in general health and wellness, including nutrition and exercise, and the importance of a healthy lifestyle throughout the lifespan.
