Dr. Daqing Zhao has over 20 years of experience analyzing and taking actions on large data sets. Trained in data analysis and simulations in biophysics, he gained extensive expertise in customer centric marketing, optimizing for all stages of customer experience in acquisition, conversion and retention. He accumulated a number of use cases on segmentation and predictive modeling on personalization, recommendation, media portfolio optimization and customer lifetime values, using state of the art data analytics and machine learning techniques.   
 
Dr. Zhao was director of advanced analytics at Macys.com, leading the predictive analytics, test and experimentation and data science teams. He previously held senior positions at Ask.com, University of Phoenix, Tribal Fusion, Yahoo, Acxiom/Digital Impact, and Bank of America. He also worked on client analytics projects for Intel, HP, Wells Fargo Bank, SBC, Dell, wine.com, MasterCard, Hainan Airlines, Dongfeng Sokon and others.
