Barbara McCamish, MPT, MSN, PT, RN, CHSE
Barbara is the former Director of Clinical Simulation Services (CSS) at Dominican, and is now
phasing toward retirement. She is currently in a temporary role supporting the change to new
leadership under Sean Salvador as Director and Kimberly Prichett as Manager.
Barbara has worked in simulation at Dominican since 2012, initially within the Nursing
Department, then shepherding the CSS to the School of Health and Natural Sciences in 2019 as
CSS services expanded to incorporate the Masters in Physician Assistant Studies (MSPAS)
program, and to support the simulation needs of the Occupational Therapy program.
Barbara maintains active licenses in both nursing and physical therapy. Barbara is also an
adjunct faculty at Dominican for the nursing department, as well as a faculty member for the
California Simulation Alliance, where she teaches simulation courses upon request.
