Angelica Gonzalez Almanza
My pursuit of higher education in Public Health and Social Justice has unlocked numerous avenues for me to serve and uplift those around me. I dedicated my efforts to serving the Canal community a marginalized Latinx neighborhood in San Rafael, California. My keen skills in observation and active listening proved invaluable in collaborating with the community, empowering them to advocate for their pressing needs. My journey has ignited a fervor within me to continually expand my knowledge and experience in the realms of public health and social justice. I am driven to remain deeply engaged in community-based research and opportunities, always seeking ways to contribute positively to our society.
