Next Steps for Admitted Students

Ready for what comes next? Accept our offer of admission and you are one step closer to earning your undergraduate degree. Stay on track with your specific enrollment path to Dominican through the Admissions Penguin Portal.

  1. Complete the Enrollment Response Form
    Let us know we are your first choice! You can access the form by logging into your Admissions Penguin Portal.
  2. Submit the FAFSA at fafsa.gov
    Maximize your financial aid award (include Dominican using school code 001196). Contact finaid@dominican.edu with any questions.
  3. Submit your Tuition Deposit ($150)
    Deposits are non-refundable. Deposits are required of all new students before registration.
  4. Meet Us Online or Visit Campus
    Experience Dominican from a distance or visit campus! Schedule a personalized meeting with your Admissions and Financial Aid Counselors. Visit the Admissions appointment calendar and/or the Financial Aid appointment calendar to find the times that work best for you.
  5. Create your Dominican Email Password
    After your tuition deposit is received, Dominican will send you an email containing your Dominican email address and steps for setting up an email password. Contact Information and Technology Services at helpdesk@dominican.edu with any questions. You will need to set up your email in order to take placement assessments and register for classes.
  6. Take Placement Assessment
    Any required placement assessments must be completed prior to class registration. Check the Admissions Penguin Portal for these requirements.
  7. Connect with an Academic Advisor
    Your advisor will create a personalized degree plan and discuss additional opportunities within your major at Dominican. Your academic advisor will assist you in registering for your classes. You will receive an email introducing you to your advisor and to schedule an advising and registration appointment. 
  8. Submit Final Official Transcripts
    Please submit any official transcripts not previously received by Dominican, including those from your final semester. Find complete instructions on how to submit your transcripts to Dominican here.
