Lepage Center for Global Innovation
Named for Dominican’s pioneering professor and administrator, the Françoise O. Lepage Center for Global Innovation will be the hub of Dominican’s international initiatives, a crucial resource for students and professors working on the leading edge of global education. The mission of the center includes teaching entrepreneurship and management to change agents throughout the world.
Here is the heart of our home in the world—dedicated faculty, staff, resources and programming that extend our reach around the globe.
- Partnerships with international universities. The center will build relationships with leading institutions around the world—a critical opportunity for faculty and student exchanges, global classroom and professional experience, and groundbreaking cross- cultural work.
- International internships. The center will oversee a network of internships with partner organizations and serve as a clearinghouse for information about professional opportunities from Seoul to Sao Paulo.
- Membership in the American Council on Education’s innovative Internationalization Lab. The center will join a high-profile cohort of institutions dedicated to globalizing higher education in America, starting with strategic, campus-specific initiatives.
At Dominican we pride ourselves on asking questions, thinking critically, taking smart risks. And we have such a diversity of talent here—business professionals and faculty and students from throughout the U.S. and overseas, coming together to think and act in new ways about the world's pressing concerns. That's why the Lepage Center belongs here. This is a culture of innovation.

In higher education, global fluency used to be optional. Now it’s essential. We’re one of the few colleges in the country that can give students the best of a liberal arts education and the best of a professional education. If you want to apply the liberal arts to business, economics, politics, culture—you have to do that in the global arena. That’s what the Lepage Center does.
