`Mindful Money' event comes to Dominican

Spencer Sherman, one of the top wealth advisors in the country and author of the bestselling book “The Cure for Money Madness” was guest speaker on March 6 in the Guzman Lecture Hall at Dominican University of California.

The free “Mindful Money” event was sponsored by Dominican’s Net Impact Chapter, a group of GreenMBA students whose purpose is to utilize the power of business to build a more socially and environmentally sustainable.

Since 2000, Sherman, CEO of Abacus Wealth Partners, has led workshops on financial freedom and has been quoted as an expert on finances and emotion by sources including: Men’s Health magazine, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, CNBC, CNN, Fox News, AARP, Kiplinger’s, Smart Money, and The San Francisco Chronicle.
