Dominican University of California has received a $250,000 grant from the W.M. Keck Foundation to purchase sophisticated scientific equipment that will significantly advance faculty research and support growth of the University’s undergraduate research program.

Dominican receives $2 million bequest from Yin estate

Dominican University of California has received a $2 million bequest from the estate of H.B. Yin and Dominican alumna Lillian L.Y. Dominican LINES Ballet students invited to Monaco

Musicians from world-acclaimed Philharmonia Baroque to perform in Guest Concert Series' 10th anniversary season

The 10th anniversary of the Guest Concert Series at Dominican University of California will continue on March 27 with several musicians from the world-acclaimed Philharmonia Baroque performing at Angelico Hall. Musicians Lisa Weiss and Joseph Edelberg on baroque violin, and baroque cellist David Goldblatt will appear on stage with Yuko Tanaka, Carmel Bach Festival’s Solo Harpsichordist, and baritone Craig Singleton, the Chair of the Department of Music and Performing Arts at Dominican.

Dr. Denise Lucy honored by Marin Women's Hall of Fame

Dr. Denise Lucy, founder and Executive Director of the Institute for Leadership Studies at Dominican University of California, was inducted into the Marin Women’s Hall of Fame Dr. Lucy -- along with Julie Abrams, Linda Davis, Barbara Lee, Dolly Nave and Youth Leadership Institute CEO Maureen Sedonaen, who holds an MBA in Strategic Leadership from Dominican -- at Marin Women’s Hall of Fame ceremonies on March 19, 2011 in San Rafael.

Dr. Mary Marcy named President-Elect at Dominican

Dominican University of California has announced that Dr. Mary B. Marcy has been elected President of the University. Her appointment is effective July 1, 2011, when she will succeed Dr. Joseph R. Fink and become the ninth person to lead Dominican in its 121-year history.
