Actress Sharon Stone Added To ILS Virtual Spring Lecture Series

Emmy and Golden Globe award-winning actress Sharon Stone has been added to the virtual Spring 2021 Leadership Lecture Series presented by Dominican University of California in partnership with Book Passage. She will appear on Tuesday, March 30, at 7 p.m.

Ms. Stone joins a lineup that features American political commentator Robert Reich, New York Times best-selling author Isabel Allende, and Heidi Kühn, Founder and CEO for Roots of Peace. The lecture series is hosted by Dominican’s Institute for Leadership Studies and sponsored by Bank Of Marin.

Robert Reich, Wednesday, February 10, at 6 p.m.  Reich, who served in the administrations of Presidents Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, and Bill Clinton, discussed his book, The System: Who Rigged It, How We Fix It. Nearly 500 people signed up to watch and listen to his presentation, which was done in conversation with Bill Petrocelli, author and co-owner of Book Passage.

Isabel Allende, Thursday, March 4, at 6 p.m. PST. Allende, considered the world’s most-read Spanish language author, will talk about her novel The Soul of a Woman. Tickets, which include a complimentary copy of the book, are $40.

Sharon Stone, Tuesday, March 30, at 7 p.m. PST. The actress, producer, and former fashion model will discuss her book The Beauty of Living Twice. Tickets, which include a complementary copy of the book, are $40.

Heidi Kühn, Thursday, April 22, at 6 p.m. PST. Kühn will discuss her memoir and call-to-action book Breaking Ground. It describes her quest to eradicate landmines from the face of the earth and firmly plant roots of peace. Tickets, which include a complimentary copy of the book, are $40.
