Student organizations host Election Day party in Fanjeaux Hall

Pre-Law, History, and Political Science and International Studies student organizations held a 2018 Midterm Elections Party November 6 from 6-9 p.m. in Fanjeaux Hall on the Dominican campus.

Lorena Paredes and Allison Popovits, co-presidents of The IGNITE club, and Dominican Political Science Club president Allison Kustic hosted the election night watch party. About 30 students attended to watch television coverage of election results while enjoying free pizza and snacks.

The election night event was held in conjunction with Dominican's IGNITE, a non-partisan women's political empowerment non-profit organization whose goal is to be the bridge to gender parity in politics by building “Political Power in Every Young Woman.”
