Senator John Kerry in conversation with Governor Jay Inslee at Dominican

Former U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry opened the 2018 Fall Leadership Lecture Series on Thursday. Senator Kerry appeared on the Angelico Concert Hall stage in conversation with Washington Governor Jay Inslee before a crowd of more than 500.

The Leadership Lecture series is presented by Dominican’s Institute for Leadership Studies in partnership with Book Passage. The lecture begins at 7 p.m. Doors open one hour prior to the programs. Free parking is available in the Conlan Center parking lot at the intersection of Acacia and Grand Avenues.

Senator Kerry discussed Every Day is Extra, Kerry’s life story about his rise from decorated Vietnam veteran to five-time U.S. Senator to 2004 Democratic presidential nominee to Secretary of State. Tickets are $45 and include an autograph copy of Every Day is Extra. CLICK HERE for tickets.

The speaker series, a cooperative effort between Dominican’s Institute for Leadership Studies and Book Passage, features some of the country’s leading figures from the worlds of business, politics, entertainment, academia, and literature. The series has entertained and educated thousands of Marin County and San Francisco Bay Area residents for the past 15 years.
