Pulitzer Prize-winning Kidder speaks in fall lecture series

Pulitzer Prize-winning author Tracy Kidder spoke in the Institute for Leadership Studies’ Fall Leadership Lecture Series in partnership with Book Passage at Dominican University of California on September 28.

Kidder, author of 10 books—including his award-winning bestseller The Soul of the New Machine —came to Dominican with his new book, A Truck Full of Money: One Man’s Quest to Recover From Great Success. It is the biography of Kayak.com founder and American maverick Paul M. English, who was once called “the Pied Piper of geeks.”

The speaker series, a cooperative effort between Dominican’s Institute for Leadership Studies and Book Passage, features some of the country's leading figures from the worlds of business, politics, entertainment, academia, and literature. The series has entertained and educated thousands of Marin County and San Francisco Bay Area residents.

All events are open to the public. Free parking is available on campus in the nearby Conlan Center parking lot at the intersection of Acacia and Grand Avenues in San Rafael.
