BFA in Dance alumnae return for Senior Project performances

In celebration of the 10th year of the Alonzo King LINES Ballet BFA in Dance at Dominican University of California, a pair of program alumnae performed as guest artists with the AXIS Dance Company at BFA in Dance’s Senior Project I on February 17-18 in Angelico Concert Hall.

Lani Dickinson ’16 and Alivia Schaffer ’13 performed with fellow members of AXIS, a mixed abilities company based in Oakland that performs across the country and abroad.

They performed two excerpts from their repertory, alongside side five works by the BFA in Dance Class of 2017.  The Senior Projects showcased original choreography by students.

Senior Project I featured a 7 p.m. performance on February 17 and a matinee performance at 3 p.m. on February 18.

Senior Project II was February 24 and February 25.
