Bettina has a two-decade teaching career that includes teaching in a variety of settings including group homes, hospitals, foster care, inclusion, programmed-in, home school, charter schools, and community college. She also has experience creating professional development courses for the Los Angeles Unified School District and co-creating a literacy program at UCLA Hospital where she was the lead teacher for six years prior to working at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles for two years. She comes to us from Mount San Antonio College, where she was an instructional specialist and professor in the accessibility resource center for students.
