We are a club that is for students, by students. We organize events to engage ourselves and educate the community on issues and topics that are important at the local, national, and global levels. We host widely-praised “Awareness and Engagement Weeks” on topics like Voter Engagement, Veteran Affairs, and Human Trafficking. We create workshops and discussions for students to engage with the political system and NGOs, learn about local and state politics, as well as understand how policy is made and how we can shape it. Our club offers leadership roles for ambitious students and a space for everyone to explore their passions, expand their skills, and make positive change.

The Political Science Association

DPSA holds joint meetings with History Club (DUHC) once a week to discuss and address the lessons we can learn from our past and the ways we can improve our shared future.

History Club

DUHC holds joint weekly meetings and activities with Dominican Political Science Association (DPSA) to organize events that encourage club members and Dominican students to be politically aware; to understand the historical implications of participating in our democratic process; and to have fun while engaging with and empowering others. A fundamental tenant of our club is that, through history, students can better understand—and engage with--the world around them.
