Dominican's Career and Internship Services office provides a wide range of programs and services to connect employers to students, alumni, and the campus community. We are a fully accredited, independent, international university, and about 12 miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Why Dominican students?

Founded in 1890 by the Dominican Sisters of San Rafael, Dominican fosters a reflective attitude combined with social commitment and integrity in our students. With a student-faculty ratio 11:1, Dominican is able to successfully blend the personal direction associated with smaller schools with the academic resources of a larger university. The diverse student body comes from across the United States -- primarily from Northern California -- as well as from twenty-one foreign countries.

Connect with our Students

Dominican Career Services will become a member of the Handshake network effective July 15, 2019.  We look forward to partnering with Handshake to bring access to career and internship opportunities for Dominican students.

Internship Program

Consider working with a Dominican intern allowing students to apply classroom theory related to their major, to a real-world setting. Interns receive faculty supervision and academic credit while gaining work experience. Employer responsibilities are minimal.
