He truly enjoys working with Dominican students as well as interacting with staff and faculty.

Susana McKeough, RN, MS, Family Nurse Practitioner, Student Health Center Director
Susana is a Family Nurse Practitioner working at our Student Health Center since 2004. Her bachelor’s degree is from UC Berkeley and she has a Masters in Nursing from UC San Francisco. Her passion is working with students to optimize their feeling of wellness, whether that means brainstorming ways to have more energy, helping students protect themselves from illness, STI’s or unwanted pregnancy, or treating medical problems that arise. She has a special interest in asthma and skin issues, and believes strongly in the preventive and curative powers of sleep, good nutrition, exercise, friendship, and maintaining a sense of humor whenever possible. When she isn’t working she can usually be found on the trails of Mt. Tamalpais with her two sons, her pals, and her dog or working with her partner on never-ending home maintenance, gardening, and repairs.

Mary Vidal, Health Services Coordinator
Mary has worked in Student Health for many years both at College of Marin and since 2006 at Dominican as an EMT, coordinator, health educator and assistant to both the FNP and MD. She has a background in health & safety, emergency planning and preparedness, nutrition, HIV testing, counseling and first aid training. In her role in Student Health she values the opportunity to work one on one with the students as they navigate their unique journey into adulthood and learn to take care of themselves in a holistic way, including their physical and emotional wellbeing. She was born and raised in Marin, has a 23 year old son and loves nature, exploring, archaeology, gardening and hiking. Mary also believes that laughter is good medicine!
