Welcome to your campus store! We’re your primary source for new, used, digital, and rental textbooks and course materials. We also stock school supplies, Dominican clothing and apparel (Go Penguins!) gifts, snacks and more.

Order Graduation Regalia and Accessories

Graduation regalia and accessories still available at DominicanUShop.com. They are not required for the Virtual Celebration but many grads are purchasing these items as souvenirs to mark their achievement.

Courtyard Pickup and Return Drop-Off

Courtyard pickup and rental return is available anytime during store hours.

We're located in Fanjeaux Hall at 180 Palm Ave in San Rafael. Our phone number is (415) 485-3213 and email is bookstore@dominican.edu.  

Requirements:

  • Follow the physical distancing protocol in place by allowing six or more feet between people.
  • Wear a face covering/mask in order to enter.
  • A valid photo ID/student ID is required for pickup. 
  • No signature is required for pickup.

Pickup/Return Process:

  1. Park in an available “Bookstore” parking spot in front of Fanjeaux Hall, limited street parking also available.

  2. Head to the Fanjeaux Courtyard, between Fanjeaux and Pennafort Halls (follow our signs)

    Online Order Pickup: Provide the last 5 digits of your Online Order number (21100000XXXX) and show your Photo ID

    Rental Return drop-off: Provide your Full Name, Email, Phone Number/Patron ID number

  3. Our team member will verify your ID and provide you with your online order/check in your rentals. Feel free to bring a reusable bag if you’re picking up multiple items.

It is our mission to provide access to affordable course materials in print, digital and rental formats, including OER resources. To find out what your class requires: go to Self Service and search for your course and section (or go to your schedule of enrolled courses) then select the section name and click "View Book Information" under the section description.

Yes! We have everything required or recommended by an instructor — from lab notebooks to lab coats, name badge reels and more. We even carry office supplies! 

Textbooks are available to purchase and/or rent in new, used, print and digital formats. Choose the format that best suits your needs and budget. Also, we buy back physical, non-rental textbooks at the end of the semester. Please note — finals week is the best time to get the most for your unwanted books.

Yes! We price match textbooks against Amazon and most competitors (excluding Amazon Warehouse and Marketplace). If you find a cheaper advertised price within seven days of purchase, we’ll give you the difference. Visit us to learn more.

Online orders are processed during store hours, within 1-2 business days. We also process online orders during the winter break but please call first if placing gift orders after December 20. When ordering, specify “store pick-up” and skip the shipping cost.

Generally, the campus store offers three shipping speeds:

  • Standard (4-7 business days)
  • 2nd Business Day (2-3 business days)
  • Next Business Day (1-2 business days)

Yes! Pick your own gifts or choose from pre-selected care packages. When ordering, specify “store pick-up” and skip the shipping charge.

While the due date for rented books is always the last day of finals, please return your rentals as soon as you are done with them. Non-return fees will be charged to replace the book in our rental library. Log in to your rental account for the term specific due date, return instructions, shipping information and more.

If you originally rented your textbook in the store, there is no option to buy or extend the rental on the website at this time. If you rented your textbook online, you have an option to buy or extend the rental on the website, on the Rentals page.

Orders are processed during store hours, in the order they are received. If your item is shipping from another location, it will take a little bit longer to arrive. Visit our shipping and delivery policy page or check your order status online. You can also contact us at the store during store hours.
