2022-2023 Tuition

Tuition is based on the current rate for the 2022-2023 academic year. The information listed in the table below detail costs before financial aid is applied. 99% of our incoming first-year students receive financial aid and so these costs will likely decrease depending on your financial aid award.

Please note, tuition rates may increase in future academic years.

**On-Campus Room and Board assumes the student is placed in a double occupancy on-campus dorm room and a 14-meals-per-week plan.

2022-2023 Additional Details

Tuition for full-time enrollment (12-18 units) for both the fall and spring semesters is $30,000 for the 2022-23 academic year. 

Fees for the Applied Computer Science program are included in tuition cost.

On-Campus Dorm Rates (full academic year):

  • Single Occupancy Room: $10,645

  • Double Occupancy Room: $8,876

  • Triple Occupancy Room: $7,293

Estimated Meal Plan Rates (full academic year):

  • 10 Meals/Week Plan:  $6,493

  • 14 Meals/Week Plan: $6,613

  • 19 Meals/Week Plan:  $7,282

Town Home Rates (full academic year):

  • Single Occupancy Room: $15,271

  • Large Double Occupancy Room: $13,362

  • Small Double Occupancy Room: $12,823

Town Home residents are not required to have a meal-plan.

Billing and Payment

For questions about your billing statement and/or the charges that appear on it, please contact the Business Services Office For information on the University’s Tuition Refund policy, please visit Business Services Policies.

  • The balance on your student account is due by the published due date, regardless of the status of your financial aid. If a balance is paid and then financial aid is applied, any credit balance will be refunded to the student.
  • Anticipated Financial Aid will show on your billing statement once all required items are received and processed by the Office of Financial Aid.
  • If your financial aid is not finalized before the dates below, it may not show on your first student account statement for the term.

Financial Aid: Scholarships, Grants, Loans and Work-Study

Students applying to the Applied Computer Science Program offered at Dominican are not eligible for Dominican Scholarships and Grants. For information regarding scholarships visit our outside scholarships page.

Eligibility for Federal and State financial aid will be determined upon receipt of the student's FAFSA or CA Dream Act application.

Undergraduate students and their families have access to federal loans to help meet their cost of attending Dominican.

In order to become eligible, submit a FAFSA and federal loans will be included in your financial aid award.

Work-Study is an optional form of self-help aid that allows students to apply for on-campus employment (or off-campus work with one of our community service partners) to earn extra money toward their college expenses.
