Welcome and Registration

Convocation

4 p.m. | Angelico Concert Hall (doors open for guest seating at 3:30 p.m.)
Celebrate sophomores, juniors, and seniors who have been named to the Dean’s List in consecutive semesters and welcome our first-year Trustee Scholars.

The ceremony will feature the presentation of the class shield. Shield Day is a long-standing, annual Dominican tradition in which the senior class ceremonially welcomes first-year students with a custom shield design and motto. Since 1924, all shield designs have been rendered in stained glass (displayed in Meadowlands Assembly Hall) and wood (displayed in Caleruega Dining Hall).

Campus Ministry Moonlight Hike

6 p.m. | Meet at Edgehill Mansion Parking Lot, drive to Tennessee Valley Trail, Mill Valley
Join Campus Ministry for a moderate evening hike on the Tennessee Valley trail to the ocean. Enjoy hot chocolate, snacks, and conversation before returning to your car under the light of the full moon. Catch your moon shadow if you can. Bring layers and comfortable shoes.
