Yellow Ribbon

Dominican participates in the Yellow Ribbon Program and will cover up to 50% of remaining tuition (after the Post-9/11 GI Bill benefits are applied) with a 50% Veterans Administration (VA) match.

Only Veterans entitled to the 100% of Post-9/11 GI Bill benefits, or their designated transferees, may receive this funding. Active duty Servicemembers and/or their spouses are not eligible for this program.

If a Servicemember intends to transfer benefits to a spouse or dependent, the transfer must be approved and completed while the Servicemember is in the armed forces.

In order to request Yellow Ribbon benefits, veterans and/or transferees must complete the following steps:

  1. Contact the VA for the Certificate of Eligibility (COE).
  2. Submit a copy of the COE to the Office of Financial Aid.
  3. Upon Admission to the University, pay the tuition deposit to the Office of Admissions and register for courses.

The Yellow Ribbon Program is a first-come, first-served program. Requests for Yellow Ribbon benefits will be processed in the order they are received and are granted on a space available basis.
