Regional Scholarships

Listed below are scholarships which require that the student has lived in a particular state or county for a specified amount of time, but may have other eligibility restrictions. Please visit each scholarship’s website for more information.

CALIFORNIA CHAFEE GRANT FOR FOSTER YOUTH
Open to: Current or former foster youth who was a dependent or ward of the court, living in foster care, between the ages of 16 and 18. Amount: Up to $5000

CAPTURE THE DREAM GEORGE GENG ON LEE SCHOLARSHIP
Open to: Undergraduate minority students living in Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, or Sonoma counties.

CAPTURE THE DREAM SINGLE PARENT SCHOLARSHIP
Open to: Low-income single parents who will be enrolled full-time and live in Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, or Sonoma counties.

Open to: Graduating high school seniors who identify as LGBTQI from the Sacramento area.
