Outside Scholarships

Our office has compiled a catalog of Outside Source Scholarships that are offered through private agencies and organizations. The catalog will be updated periodically and new scholarships will be posted when they become available. Eligibility requirements and application deadlines are subject to change at the sole discretion of the scholarship provider. Dominican University of California and the Office of Financial Aid are impartial to the views and opinions of the scholarship providers compiled in the catalog.

Avoid Scams

Be mindful that not all scholarship offers are legitimate. Watch out for the following warning signs:

  • You have to pay a fee.
  • Money-back offers or guarantees.
  • Credit card or bank account information required.
  • Provides "exclusive" information.

These may come in the form of scholarship matching services, advance fee-loan scams, or sales pitches disguised as "financial aid seminars." For more information on how to avoid scholarship scams please visit College Board's How to Spot Scholarship Scams guide.
