Helen Macdonald is a writer, poet, illustrator, historian and naturalist, as well as an affiliated research scholar at the Department of History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Cambridge, where she teaches undergraduate and graduate courses. She also worked as a research fellow at Jesus College, Cambridge. As a professional falconer, she assisted with the management of raptor research and conservation projects across Eurasia.

Event Details

Tickets may be purchased at BookPassage.com/Dominican, call (415) 927-0960 extension 1, or visit a Book Passage store in Corte Madera or San Francisco.

Events are open to the public. When an event is free, no ticket or RSVP is required, and seating is on a first-come, first served basis. If an event lists a ticket price, advance ticket purchases are recommended.  For Free Events: Priority seating is provided to those who purchase the speaker's book at Book Passage.

For all authored events, books are available for purchase at the Angelico Concert Hall on the night of the event. 

Lectures take place at Angelico Concert Hall, Dominican University of California, 50 Acacia Avenue, San Rafael 94901. For directions, refer to the University map and directions to the campus

Events typically begin at 7:00 pm, but times may vary. Please refer to event descriptions.  Doors open 1 hour prior to the event.
