About OLLI

OLLI at Dominican engages people over 50 with intellectually stimulating lectures and workshops that promote informed thinking and intelligent discussion with social interaction. Liberal arts and sciences courses are taught by distinguished and dynamic faculty, creating meaningful learning experiences.


Classes are taught by experienced professors in the discipline, the majority of whom hold a Ph.D. in their field. Certain classes such as film, law, and medicine are taught by distinguished practitioners. According to OLLI policy, homework cannot be required. Membership and Fees

We offer a Basic Annual Membership and a Premium Annual Membership. After paying the Basic Membership Fee of $25 for each session, basic members may enroll in OLLI courses or clubs by paying the individual fees. 

After paying the Premium Annual Membership Fee, members may register for up to four courses per session and an unlimited number of clubs during the Fall, Winter and Spring with no additional course fees. Learn more about membership advantages and fees.

Course Locations

The majority of courses are held on the Dominican campus. Other course locations include Congregation Kol Shofar in Tiburon, Villa Marin in San Rafael and the Osher Marin Jewish Community Center in San Rafael. See location maps, directions and parking


Scholarships are funded through the generous donations of OLLI members and organizations such as the Dominican Women’s Leadership and Philanthropy Council. If you wish to be considered for a scholarship in the Fall 2014 session, please send a personal letter with contact information, information on your monthly income, a completed registration form and membership fee by August 25, 2014. If you are selected for a full or partial scholarship, you may pay only an administrative fee of $25 each session. Scholarships are not available for summer session.
