OCTOBER 9  |  Telegraph String Quartet
Join us for an exciting concert by Bay Area based Telegraph String Quartet. After winning the prestigious Grand Prize in the 2014 Fischoff Chamber Music Competition, the quartet has gone on to perform in concert halls, music festivals, and academic institutions in the United States, Germany, Italy, and France. From its founding, the ensemble has shown a passionate commitment to the standard chamber music repertoire, as well as contemporary and non-standard repertoire. We are excited to present this dynamic quartet for the first time as part of the Guest Concert Series.

NOVEMBER 6  |  Gustavo Romero, Piano
Internationally renowned concert pianist Gustavo Romero returns to the Guest Concert Series for a program of timeless masterpieces and exciting contemporary works. After making his orchestral debut with the New York Philharmonic under Zubin Mehta at age thirteen, he went on to win the Clara Haskill International Piano Competition in Switzerland and receive the prestigious Avery Fisher Career Grant and Musical America Young Artist of 1988. A native of San Diego with heritage in Guadalajara, Mexico, Gustavo Romero has appeared around the world as a soloist with leading orchestras and as a solo/chamber recitalist. He is a graduate of
the Juilliard School.

FEBRUARY 12  |  Mobius Guitar Trio
"The Mobius Trio is one of the most vital groups on the
musical scene."
 ~ David Harington, Kronos Quartet

One of the Bay Area's best and hottest young ensembles, Mobius Guitar Trio will be joining us for the first time. Described by the eminent Sergio Assad as "the most inventive and exciting young guitar ensemble today," Mobius Trio is an ensemble of three guitars that focuses entirely on the creation of a new lexicon of music for both classical and electric guitars.

MARCH 19  |  Tilden Trio
"(The) performance by the Tilden Trio was a mesmerizing display of great music making. With a warm tone that was inviting even in the most challenging music, the Tilden Trio proved the theory that chamber music at its best is a musical conversation between close friends."
~ Honolulu Music Examiner

Tilden Trio quickly became a sought-after ensemble since its founding in 2004 by Juilliard schoolmates who have collaborated for decades in various ensemble settings, starting in their pre-college days. We are excited to have the trio return to the Guest Concert Series stage for the first time since 2011.
