Teacher Leadership

The Master of Science in Education, Teacher Leadership 32-unit program is ideal for working professionals who are interested in advanced studies in education. The MS degree culminates with either a thesis or directed research project. All candidates in the Teacher Leadership will obtain valid credentials in the State of California.

Recent Dominican Credential Completers

All credential completers who have earned their preliminary credential recommendation with Dominican within the past 5 years may continue with the 16 units of masters coursework.

Total units for MS in Education: Teacher Leadership is 16 units of credential coursework plus 16 units of masters degree coursework = 32 units

Dominican may accept up to 6 additional qualified graduate transfer units toward the 32 unit degree requirement. For the purpose of this agreement, qualified transfer units are broadly defined as graduate units earned at another institution that focus primarily on education/teacher preparation.
