Martinique Perry

"My overall experience in the Dominican teaching program has left me feeling prepared and confident to enter the world of education. Our professors told us to trust the process as we go through it, and now l am getting ready to graduate feeling excited and determined to make a difference in the lives of many children. I am grateful for the education I have received here.-Melissa Thurner

In accordance with State requirements, The Preliminary Multiple Subject Credential authorizes you to seek initial employment as a multiple subject (elementary) teacher, but does not authorize ongoing teaching service. After you earn your preliminary credential, you will need to complete professional preparation within five years of the date of issuance of your preliminary credential in order to continue ongoing teaching service as an educator. To complete the Professional (Clear) Credential, you will be required to enroll in a commission-approved SB 2042 Professional Teacher Induction Program.
