Dominican Nursing Student Association

The Dominican Nursing Student Association (DNSA) is an active student club that any Dominican nursing student can join. As a member, you are welcome to attend our club meetings, participate in activities and fundraisers, and become involved in the nursing department forums. The DNSA is a great way to make new friends, practice leadership skills, gain access to invited guest speakers, form study groups, and most of all have fun!DNSA Group

During our meetings, we update students about current DNSA events, volunteer opportunities, and talk with guest speakers. Current RNs often attend to give advice to nursing students and answer questions. We offer a flexible attendance policy for our members so that they can attend DNSA meetings whenever their class schedule and coursework allow.

DNSA members have the opportunity to earn club "points" for participating in DNSA activities and functions. Points serve as a way to show member dedication to the DNSA. At graduation, participating DNSA members with points receive a cord that can be worn with their graduation regalia. This honor distinguishes our members as active participants in our student group.

We invite you to a look at our Facebook group page to see what we are up to.  If you are a current nursing student at Dominican, you may join by clicking "add friend."  We look forward to getting to know you!
