Faculty/Staff Global Engagement

Global engaged faculty/staff are defined as culturally aware, global social responsibility, global interconnectivity and able to move from theory to practice in the global realm.

Global Professional Development Programs

To contribute to the development of a globally engaged faculty and staff at Dominican, we offer Global Engagement opportunities for Dominican Faculty/Staff to include symposia, workshops, guest speakers, special events, global learning courses and programs.

We aim to increase global engagement of our diverse faculty and staff by supporting workshops on global learning topics each semester.  Faculty and staff are encouraged to attend these workshops.

Workshops

Dominican mission is to “Educate and prepare students to be ethical leaders and socially responsible global citizens who incorporate the Dominican values of study, reflection, community and service into their lives.” Beginning with that premise, we want to build a vibrant learning community that integrates global learning into curricular and co-curricular activities.
