Tutoring and Learning Center

The Tutoring and Learning Center (TLC), located in Bertrand 110, is an academic resource for all Dominican students. It houses four computer work stations, four tutoring carrels, conference areas for group tutoring and studying, and printing for students (with their Dominican ID card).



What can I do at the TLC?

  • Check out instructional books. Obtain free math, writing, and reading handouts (and more).

What are the TLC's hours?

Monday through Thursday, 9:00am–8:30pm

Friday 9:00am–5:00pm.

Saturday and Sunday   Closed

Occasionally the TLC must be closed for special testing sessions, but when that happens, an alternative location for tutoring sessions will be posted.

How can I sign up for a tutor?

To sign up for a tutor, go to https://cm.maxient.com/reportingform.php?DominicanUnivofCA&layout_id=10 to fill out an electronic tutor request form. You must submit a separate request if you are requesting for more than one class. You can also drop by the TLC if you need help filling out the form or if you have any questions.
