Redesigned Institutional Review Process

The IRP has been redesigned in significant ways to build on the work already accomplished in Dominican’s last cycle of review and to focus the goals of the process on ensuring and improving student success and student learning.

Under the Redesigned Institutional Review Process (IRP), Dominican's next institutional review will occur in fall 2017 and spring 2018. Part of the self study will include evidence of graduating students’ levels of performance in the below five core competencies:

  • Written communication
  • Oral communication
  • Quantitative reasoning
  • Critical thinking
  • Information literacy
