Information About The Print Job

In order to simplify the printing process we only support four file types: Adobe Photoshop PSD, Adobe Acrobat PDF, JPG Image files and Microsoft PowerPoint. If you are unsure on how to create a file in one of these formats please contact your instructor. Except for Digital Art Classes, Adobe Acrobat PDF is the most reliable and preferred file type.

Due to the large file sizes you must bring your file on a CD, DVD or USB Drive. Please do not attempt to e-mail your files.

The printer supports printing pages up to 44" x 60".

Academic Posters will be printed on relatively inexpensive Doubleweight Matte paper. Art students need to check with their instructor as to which type of paper they should use.

Information About The File - (ONLY Required for Adobe Photoshop Files  )

Only if your file is in Adobe Photoshop format, you must prepare the file for printing before your appointment. Please confirm that you have the following file attributes configured appropriately.

Have you set your file dimensions to be the same as your desired print dimensions?

What is the resolution of your file? We recommend that files be set at 200dpi, and will accept files between 100dpi and 300dpi. This dpi setting is for the file, not the final printing.

Is your image in RGB format? We do not support printing or converting files from cmyk format.

Have you flattened your layers? You need to do this before you can print.
