Andrei Tsygankov, Professor of International Relations and Political Science at San Francisco State University, presented “Putin and Medvedev: Back To The Future?” on February 28 in the Creekside Room at Dominican University of California.

The event, co-sponsored by Dominican and the Marin Chapter of the United Nations Association, will began with a reception at 6:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 7 p.m., dessert at 7:30 p.m. and the program at 7:50 p.m.

Tsygankov, a Russian-born and educated author who has spoken at various forums at Cal Berkeley and Stanford, is a regular contributor to Russia Profiles’ weekly Russia experts’ panel.  At Dominican, he discussed Russia’s presidential elections in March when Prime Minister Vladimir Putin is expected to become president once again with current president Dimitri Medvedev assigned to his former post as prime minister.
