About the Department
The Department of Occupational Therapy prepares students for practice, leadership, education, and research in the profession of occupational therapy. Our curriculum develops ethical, competent practitioners with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to thrive in changing healthcare environments.
The department features an innovative educational curriculum, combining rigorous and comprehensive professional preparation with a focus on community practice. Our small classes promote close interaction between faculty mentors and students. Interwoven throughout the program are diverse field placements and community partnerships.
Dominican offers a five-year program leading to the Bachelor of Science in Health Science and the Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT) and a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT) degree for students entering at the graduate level.
